Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

You can browse and download from 3DSAW without an account. An account is optional — with your Google account or with an email and password — and there is no marketing email. This policy covers the limited data collected when you visit or sign in.

Accounts

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo link — nothing else, and never your Google password. If you register with an email and password, we store your email, the name you give, and your password only as a one-way hash (it cannot be read back, even by us); to limit fake signups we also keep a one-way hash of the network address you signed up from, which rotates daily. While you are signed in we also keep a list of the models you download, shown to you on your account page. This data is used only to run your account and is never sold or shared. To have your account and its history deleted, email us at the address below.

Analytics

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures page views, referrers, approximate location (country/city), and device type, and sets cookies in your browser. It is used only to understand which models and pages are useful.
  • First-party visit counting — to show how many people viewed a model, the site stores a one-way daily hash of your IP address and browser user-agent. The hash cannot be reversed to an IP, rotates every day, and no raw IP address or other personal data is kept.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets its own cookies; you can block or delete them in your browser settings without losing any site functionality. Signing in sets one essential cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days and is removed when you sign out. A cookie-consent control is planned.

Third parties

  • Google — Analytics, Google Sign-In for optional accounts, and Google Drive for hosting the downloadable files. Google’s handling of that data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

What we do not do

No selling or sharing of visitor data, no advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking beyond the standard Google Analytics cookie.
